RUSSELL FAMILY PARK

Public BBQ

Hidden behind Montville's tinsel strip lies a beautiful park filled with plenty to enjoy for visitors of all ages. With tall trees surrounding a picturesque lake and gentle wide paths, it provides a serene setting for relaxation. Those with children can take advantage of the playground, which is great for kids over 5, though younger ones might find fewer attractions. A climbing tower, slide, and a few cabanas add to the charm. It's an ideal spot for a family picnic with a small stage, pretty sunny glen, and during pecan season, free nuts. Even dogs find joy in walking here. There are several options for a gentle stroll, and you can explore short trails and dams or enjoy the beautiful gardens and ponds. Though beautiful, some may find a lack of shade, and the park's metal slide can get hot. However, the exceptional toilet facilities and large parking space nearby add convenience, making it a great place for a day with the family.
